Sixth Grade—Ellen Aschim—Profe Elena

Profe Elena graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a bachelor of applied science degree in elementary education and a minor in teaching Spanish. She studied abroad in Spain and completed her student teaching requirement at the St. Clare Private Elementary School in Cartago, Costa Rica. Her practicum teaching experiences allowed her to assist teachers in several schools in Duluth and Superior. She has been a counselor for several years at a camp for children with diabetes and has been a swimming and downhill ski instructor for elementary students.
