Kinder—Marieugenia Cedrón Caballero—Srta. Maru

Srta. Maru (pronounced "MA-roo") came to Lakes International from St. Paul Academy, where she taught Spanish. While at SPA, she also coordinated Artists in Residence, Spanish Club, and the school's Language Ambassador training. She earned her master's degree in Second Languages and Cultures from the University of Minnesota and holds an immersion certificate from there as well. Maru is originally from Peru, where she earned a bachelor's degree and license in Early Childhood studies from the Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazon and worked as a Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher in Lima. She brings a wealth of language and cultural background with her to Lakes International.
