Kinder, Third & 6th—Kathie Dahl—Profe Kathie

Profe Kathie has been teaching for fifteen years in various capacities: teaching kindergarten in a parochial school in Montebello, CA,; teaching 1st grade in East Los Angeles, CA in a bilingual Spanish program; homeschooling her children; and substitute teaching in both California and Minnesota.

From birth to age 8 Profe Kathie lived in Bangladesh. She is a world traveler who has lived in many places. As a teenager, her family lived in Cuenca, Ecuador for four years. It was there that she developed her love for the Spanish language and Latin American culture. Most recently Profe Kathie and her family lived in Mexico while working for the Lutheran church.

Profe Kathie is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles where she obtained a Professional Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, with a Bilingual, Crosscultural, Language & Academic Development Emphasis in Spanish.

She resides in Arden Hills with her husband Jeff and children: Jeremy, age 13, Kristine, age 11, and David, age 7.
