Kinder—Richie Kucinski—Profe Richie

Profe Richie, who has previously taught four years of kindergarten at Lakes International Language Academy, is making the jump to fourth grade this year. He is currently serving on the LILA Board of Directors and has actively participated in Camp del Sol, SOPA testing, coached the LILA track and field team, as well as many other staff development and leadership programs. He gained classroom experience in places as far south as Antigua, Guatemala, and as far north as Duluth, Minnesota. A graduate of Bethel College, he studied in Mexico and worked as a Spanish translator for Initiatives International, Inc., located in Chihuahua, Mexico. He is expected to complete his Master's in Education in Second Languages and Cultures, as well as the Certificate of Immersion Program, from the University of Minnesota sometime this school year. An avid cyclist and runner, Profe Richie lives in Blaine, Minnesota with his wife, Erin.
