Srta. Amy lived and studied in Peru for nine years and brings a strong international perspective to her classroom. Before she joined Lakes International Language Academy in 2004, she had been a fifth-grade student teacher at Adams Spanish Immersion Elementary School in St. Paul. She also served as the site manager for Discover Club, a school-age care program in St. Paul. Ms. Thorp, a Spanish Honor Society member, graduated from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul.
