Staffing at Lakes International

With increased enrollment, Lakes International Language Academy has hired additional elementary teachers and staff for the 2007-2008 school year. Our exciting Spanish immersion learning environment is based on the renowned International Baccalaureate Primary Years curriculum. Teachers here have the opportunity to create and deliver transdisciplinary content within the IB/PYP framework. The faculty directly influences the school's development and operation-more so than in most public schools.

To ensure we recruit and retain excellent teachers, we have developed a competitive compensation and benefits program. Our administration supports staff members' efforts to obtain immersion certification and IB PYP training. We're committed to small class sizes, encouraging teachers to genuinely know each student.
