International Language Academy has become a great
and unique school because of the hard work and pursuit of excellence by
parent and community volunteers. These people have contributed
their time, knowledge, and experience, bringing leadership and vision
to the forefront of the school. Volunteering and getting involved
facilitates better
student learning, by effectively reducing the class size. When a mother
or father helps out, there are fewer children the teacher has to focus
on at any particular time. The teacher then can provide a more
intimate, quality classroom environment.Getting involved at your child's school has the added benefit of showing the school staff how interested you are in their son or daughter's education. When teachers and staff are aware that a student's parents care, they may take a natural avid interest in helping the student succeed.
